Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 · sentinelcoin.net · Sentinel Coin (SENT)

Summary: you can use the scanner without an account. If you create one, we store a username, a scrambled (hashed) password, your credit balance and — only if you add it — your email address. We use your email only to confirm it's yours, reset your password and send security alerts about your account. We do not sell, rent or trade your email address, your account information, your chat messages, or any data about wallets or token holders — and we never will. Full detail below.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to sentinelcoin.net and its tools: the Token Scanner, Wallet Screener, Scan Database, accounts, community chat, and the Audit and Verification Request forms. It does not cover third-party sites we link to (Solscan, DexScreener, GoPlus, Rugcheck, Telegram, Discord, X, Phantom and others), which have their own policies.

2. What We Collect

InformationWhenWhy
Username, hashed password, hashed recovery codeIf you create an accountTo sign you in. Your password and recovery code are stored only as one-way hashes — we cannot read them.
Email address (optional)Only if you add one in your profileSee "Email" below.
Credit balance, deposit and spending history, transaction signaturesIf you add funds or spend creditTo keep your balance correct and to make sure a payment is only ever counted once.
Chat messages, your username and the time sentIf you post in chatTo run the chat. Messages are public to everyone who views the chat.
IP address (scrambled)When you sign up, sign in, reset a password or request an emailTo slow down password guessing and abuse. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of the address with an attempt count, never the address itself, and the count resets after an hour.
Name, email and project detailsIf you submit an Audit or Verification RequestTo process and reply to that request only.

We do not ask for your real name, phone number or address to make an account, and we never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a message, or share a seed phrase or private key.

3. Email

Adding an email is optional. If you add one, we collect it so that we can:

We do not use your email for marketing, newsletters or promotions, and we will not start sending any without asking you first. We never sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their own purposes. To send these emails we use an email delivery provider (Resend), which receives your address and the text of the message solely to deliver it for us. You can remove your email at any time from your profile.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, including your email address, account details, chat messages and credit history. We also do not sell or trade data about wallets or token holders. Holder and wallet information shown in scan reports (such as the largest holders of a token) is public blockchain data that anyone can see on a block explorer; we display it, we do not collect it about you, and we do not sell it.

We may disclose information only if legally required to (for example a valid court order), or to protect against fraud, abuse or a security incident.

5. What Is Public

6. Cookies, Browser Storage and Analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, your browser stores a sign-in token in its local storage (it lets you stay signed in); signing out removes it. The scanner also keeps a copy of your recent scan reports in local storage on your own device, so you can reopen them later without paying again; that copy never leaves your browser, and you can clear it any time by clearing your site data. Our hosting provider (Netlify) provides simple traffic statistics — page views and visitor counts — and keeps routine server logs, which can include IP addresses.

7. Where Your Data Goes

8. How Long We Keep It, and Your Choices

9. Security

Passwords and recovery codes are stored only as salted one-way hashes. Password-reset and email-confirmation links work once and expire. Repeated wrong sign-in attempts temporarily lock an account. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will never ask for your password, recovery code or seed phrase, never DM you a payment address, and never ask you to connect a wallet — treat anyone who does as a scammer.

10. PDF Reports

Reports generated by the Token Scanner are created and downloaded directly in your browser. We do not receive or store a copy.

11. Children's Privacy

SENTINEL is not directed at children, and accounts are for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as SENTINEL changes. The "Last updated" date above shows when. If we ever change how we treat your email or other personal information in a way that matters to you, we will say so here before it takes effect.
